Powell to compete at indoor track nationals

Albion High graduate and SUNY Brockport sophomore Chanyce Powell will be competing in the NCAA Division III national indoor track and field championships this coming weekend at Boston.
This past weekend Powell placed second in the Triple Jump (38-7 1/2) and 10th in the Long Jump (17-6 1/4) at the All Atlantic Regional held at Ithaca.
She also placed second in the Triple Jump at the recent SUNYAC championships.
Last year Powell placed fifth in the Long Jump at the national championships. She also won the Triple Jump at the regionals.
Powell is majoring in Exercise Physiology at Brockport.
