Albion swimmers split with Newfane

Improving to 4-0, Albion bested Newfane (0-4) 75-19 Friday in a Niagara-Orleans League boys swim meet.

Matt Kovaleski doubled in the 50 Free and 100 Breaststroke and Harrison Brown in the 200 Free and 100 Free for Albion as Sam Sanchez took the 100 Butterfly, Thomas Furmanski the 100 Breaststroke and Jacob Coolbaugh the 200 Individual Medley.

Getting individual event wins from six different swimmers, Newfane won the girls meet 63-26 to regain the .500 mark at 2-2.

Michaela Pantano won the 50 Free and Laiken Ricker the 100 Backstroke for Albion which is now 0-4.
