RBM drops hockey season opener
The Roy- Hart/Barker/Medina/Akron club hockey team lost its season opening game Wednesday night to last year’s large school champion, Orchard Park by a score of 10-1.
Trailing 5-1 at the end of the opening period, RBM could not find the net again and Orchard Park shut them out for the rest of the game.
Scoring for RBM was Jason Kuchey off an assist from Dominic Peracciny.
The same two teams meet again this Saturday evening at the Lockport Cornerstone Arena at 6:50 for the RBM home opener.
