Medina tops Albion to near golf title
Medina bested rival Albion 224-257 at Hickory Ridge this afternoon to move closer to locking up a second straight Niagara-Orleans League championship.
Aiden Paul earned medalist honors with a 36 and Ian Wagner added a 40, Dylan Lonnen a 43 and Trevor Luthart a 49 for Medina which improves to 10-0-1.
Patrick Ricker shot 40 and Andrew Caldwell 49 for Albion which slips to 5-6.
Medina visits Wilson Wednesday to close out the regular season.
Wilson improved to 8-3 by downing Barker 250-264 as Patrick Seeley shot a 42 and Nathan Meyers a 47.
Barker’s Jake Harris took medalist honors with a 40.
