Albion came from behind to best host Batavia 22-25, 26-24, 25-21, 25-18 in a non league girls volleyball match this evening.
Sierra Newton had 5 aces and 4 kills, Natalie Lathrop 8 kills and 6 digs, Breanda Johnson 6 aces and 16 assists, Haley Smith 6 kills and Isabella Gibbs 3 aces to lead the way for the Purple Eagles.
In a Genesee Region League match, Holley downed Wheatland-Chili 25-15, 25-21, 25-17 as Nicole Mrzywka had 9 kills and 2 assists, Megan Donohue 3 aces, 1 kill and 8 assists and AJ Botello 3 kills, 2 aces and 6 assists.
In another G-R match, Pembroke trimmed Lyndonville 25-23, 25-22, 26-24 as Dekari Moss had 7 kills and 5 aces, Mackenzie Jurwk 7 aces and 2 kills and Katelyn Curtis a service ace which clinched the win in all three sets.
Hannah Despard had 16 digs for Lyndonville.
