Highs in the 70s to start the week
Today is forecast to be sunny with a high of 72. The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a beach hazards statement until 4 p.m. today for Orleans, Niagara and Monroe counties. The Weather Service said there is a high swim risk with life-threatening waves and currents.
“Stay out of the water and stay away from dangerous areas like piers and breakwalls,” the Weather Service said.
The high temperatures for the rest of the week include 76 with a ¼ to ½ inch of rain possible on Tuesday, 74 on Wednesday with chance of rain, 66 and partly sunny on Thursday, 69 and a chance of showers on Friday, and 67 and mostly sunny on Saturday.
