Lyndonville, Kendall score volleyball wins
Lyndonville defeated Wheatland-Chili 25-13, 25-10, 25-15 and Kendall bested Oakfield-Alabama/Elba 25-23, 25-22, 15-25, 26-24 in Genesee Region League girls volleyball action this evening.
In another G-R match, Byron-Bergen downed Holley 25-15, 25-14, 25-15.
Alecia Hinkson had 8 aces, 4 kills and 8 digs; Carlie Russo 4 aces and 4 kills and Riley Schmitt 4 kills to lead the way for Lyndonville.
Brittney Marks had 10 assists, 7 digs, 4 aces and 3 kills for Kendall. Jessica Coble went 9 for 9 from the service line and added 10 digs and 5 assists and Jenna Regan went 10 for 10 in serving including 2 aces and added 13 kills for the Lady Eagles.
Brianna Smith had 10 kills and 2 aces and Leah Bezon 6 kills for Oakfield-Alabama/Elba.
Byron-Bergen was paced by Alexandra Vurrano with 18 assists and 4 aces and Madison Farnsworth with 12 kills and 6 aces.
Rachael Howard and AJ Butello both had 3 aces for Holley as Ava Parr added 2 aces and 2 kills.
