Lyndonville earns 5th Tri County victory
Three consecutive big scoring innings powered Lyndonville to a 16-3 victory over visiting Alden Thursday evening in a Tri County Babe Ruth League game.
Improving to 5-3 on the season, Lyndonville erupted for 6 runs in the second inning, 4 in the third and 5 in the fourth to take control.
Home runs by Rolland Balcerzak and Oskar Heinsler highlighted the fourth inning uprising.
Trenton Muck also had 3 hits on the evening for Lyndonville.
Balcerzak earned the win on the mound striking out 6 over four innings. Muck came on to hurl the final three frames striking out 4.
