Men’s leagues in action at Hickory Ridge
Mother nature cooperated last week with play in all leagues at Hickory Ridge.
The Wednesday Night League has John Carlson and Brian Hofstra at the top with 41 points followed by Larry Palmer and Dave Rau with 40, Gary Beattie and Jim Zambito with 37, Sam and Mark Hackenburg with 36.5 and Ray Daniels and Tim Hendrickson with 35.5 points to round out the top 5 teams.
Carlson led with 5 pars followed by Bill Connolly with 4. Dave Petta and Ed Berlew had one birdie each. Low Gross was Connolly with a 40 and low net was shared by Beattie, Carlson and Rau with 32 each.
The Thursday Night Men’s Traveling League saw continued strong play by Ray Daniels and Ken Hinkson as they lead again this week with 122 points. Pete Kaiser and Steve Tipton follow with 116 points, Josh Bennett and Scott Budde with 100, Dave Fisher and Tom Hennekey with 92 and Patrick Drury and Gabe Nagy round out the top 5 with 86 points.
Three players shared a low gross of 43. They are Hinkson, Budde and Mike Pilon. Josh Carpenter was low net with 31. Nagy led with 2 birdies while Guy Eaton had 5 pars.
