Holley, Kendall have sectional track champs
Holley’s Angie Weaver took top honors in the Shotput (31-10 1/2) at the Section V Class CC track championships and Kendall’s Brianna Wakefield won the 1500 (5:16.94) at the Class D meet on Friday.
Wakefield also placed third in the 3000.
The Kendall girls also had Madison Jacob place third in the 400 Hurdles, and Jenna Regan take fourth in the Shotput.
The Holley girls also had Abrianna Kruger place fifth in both the Long Jump and Pole Vault.
In the Boys Class CC meet for Holley, Matt Simone placed fourth in the Long Jump and Matt Hahn fifth in the Discus.
In the Class D meet, the Kendall boys had Dylan Spellan place second in the Discus and Allen Tonas third in the Shotput while Lyndonville’s Evan Horn took fifth in the Long Jump.
