Ryenn Oliver drove in 3 runs and Camri King plated 2 in the decisive opening frame for the Mustangs.  King had a pair of doubles on the day.

The contest was a rematch of last year’s Section VI Class B state qualifier game which saw Depew down Medina 5-2.

Weather causes postponements
The rainy weather earlier in the day washed out the Northstar vs. Lyndonville, Holley vs. Byron-Bergen and Wilson vs. Newfane baseball games; the Kendall vs. Notre Dame, Roy-Hart vs. Oakfield-Alabama and Holley vs. Pembroke softball contests and the Medina vs. Akron tennis match.
