Lyndonville girls down Kendall; Holley wins

Erupting for six quick runs in the first inning, Lyndonville went on to defeat host Kendall 22-1 this afternoon in a Genesee Region League softball game.

A two-run double by Megan Krisher highlighted the big first inning for the Lady Tigers.

Brittney Marks makes solid contact at the plate for Kendall. Miranda Lembcke is the Lyndonville catcher.

Krisher finished with a total of 3 hits as Alecia Hinkson, Anna Lewis, Natalie Ostrowski and Miranda Lembcke each had 2.  Krisher drove in a total of 5 runs. Hinkson had a triple and drove in 4 runs and Lewis a double and 3 RBIs.

Gracie Johnson picked up the win in the circle for the Lady Tigers registering 3 strikeouts.

Holley 18, Byron-Bergen 8
Madison Marsh struck out 9 in the circle and also banged out 3 hits at the plate to lead Holley to an 18-8 G-R win over Byron-Bergen.

Madison Papaj and Madison Day both added a pair of hits for the Lady Hawks. Papaj’s hits included a double.

Holley improves to 3-2.
