All of the scoring came in the late innings as Albion edged past host Wilson 3-2 this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League baseball game.

Albion built up a 3-0 lead by scoring once in the fifth on an error, once in the sixth on a single by Bryce Pritchard and then what proved to be the game winning tally in the top of the seventh on a double by Nate Fearby.

However, Wilson battled back in the last of the seventh cutting the deficit to 3-2 on a two-run double by Tanner Feeley. The Lakemen then got another runner aboard via a walk before the Purple Eagles defense got the final out on a popup.

Thomas Furmanski picked up the win on the mound for Albion allowing only 2 hits and striking out 12 over six and two-thirds innings.

John Bender went the distance on the mound for Wilson scattering 4 hits and striking out 13.

Albion improves to 3-1 in N-O action while Wilson is at 1-1.
