G-R honors for Holley, Kendall cagers

Photos by Cheryl Wertman – Kendall’s Nate Warters and Holley’s Patrick Bower have earned G-R All-Star honors.

Holley senior Patrick Bower and Kendall junior Nate Warters have both been named to the Genesee Region League All-Star basketball team.

Bower scored 338 points (15 ave.) and grabbed off 197 rebounds.

Warters tallied 372 points (16.9 ave) and had 107 rebounds, 70 assists and 35 steals.

Kendall junior John Rath and Holley senior Andrew Moseman both received Honorable Mention.

Rath scored 240 points (10.09 ave.) and had 112 rebounds and 108 assists while Moseman scored 217 points and had 91 assists and 22 steals.

Two Lyndonville juniors, Nathan Poler and Zach Johnson, also both received Honorable Mention.

Poler scored 287 points (13.0 ave.) and had 167 rebounds and 55 assists. Johnson tallied 255 points (11.6 ave.) with 188 rebounds, 101 assists and 33 blocks.

The All-Star first team also includes Erik Scharlau and Chris McClinic from Alexander, Dawson Nelson from Attica, Colton Dillon and Jon Boyce from Elba, Ryan Moffat and Nico Zambito from Notre Dame, Ryan Douglas and Taylor Ohlson from Oakfield-Alabama and Reid Miano from Pembroke.
