R-H/Barker/Medina icers upended by Olean
The Roy-Hart/Barker/Medina club hockey team lost to Olean 6-1 Saturday evening at the Cornerstone Arena to fall to fourth place in the White Division standings of the Western New York Club Hockey League.
Olean did the only scoring in the opening period taking a 2-0 lead.
At the 12:24 mark of the second period, Dominic Peracciny (R-H) scored, RBM’s lone goal assisted by Rocco Spagnolo (Barker).
Later, Olean added two goals in each of the last two periods.
Now 7-9 on the season, RBM now makes a Super Bowl Sunday journey to SUNY Fredonia to play Dunkirk- Fredonia at 4:45 this afternoon. The team will complete their inaugural season next Saturday at home against Wilson- Newfane before entering the Club State Playoffs.
