Medina’s Gary Gross Tourney underway
Photos by Cheryl Wertman – Competition got underway this morning in Medina’s annual Gary Gross Memorial Wrestling Tournament. All four Orleans County teams including Medina, Albion, Lyndonville and Holley-Kendall are taking part in the 10 team event along with Wilson, Lew-Port, Perry, Churchvlle-Chili, Attica/Batavia and New Hartford which is near Utica in Section III. The finals of the individual round robin tourney are slated to begin around 4 p.m. Here opening round action has Cade Aina of Holley-Kendall going against Albion’s Hunter Albright.
Here Tambren Bennett of the New Hartford Spartans has the advantage of Spencer Rotoli of the host Mustangs.
