Tri County icers earn tie after wild 3rd period
All of the scoring took place in the final period as the Tri County Midget hockey team battled to a 2-2 tie with Batavia today at Brockport.
Tri County broke away from a scoreless deadlock when Patrick Ricker scored with 14 minutes remaining in the third period.
It was a sea-saw battle the rest of the way as tallies first by Batavia, then by Tri County and then Batavia again resulted in the tie. Grant Moy netted Tri County’s second goal.
Nate Wildrick made several key saves in goal for Tri County which is now 0-5-2 on the season.
