Lady Eagles top Lady Tigers; Lady Rams win
Leading from wire to wire, Kendall posted a 36-21 victory over visiting Lyndonville this evening in a Genesee Region League girls basketball game.
Lyndsay Wright, Taylor ReQua and Katherine Pearson each scored 8 points to lead Kendall’s balanced attack as Jenna Regan added 6, Brittney Marks 4 and Lizzie Sutphen 2.
Wright and ReQua also both had 8 rebounds and 6 steals, Pearson 8 rebounds and 4 steals, Regan 10 rebounds and Marks 4 steals.
Ella Lewis and Alecia Hinskon both scored 8, Savannah Poler 4 and Miranda Lembcke 1 for Lyndonville.
Kendall held leads of 6-1 after one period, 16-7 at the half and 24-9 at the three-quarter mark.
Roy-Hart 49, CSAT 45
Roy-Hart used a balanced attack to edge past visiting CSAT 49-45 in a non league game as Meghan Washington tallied 9, Ellie Todd 8 and Lexi Lovewell, Delaney Draper, Maddie Fry and Ashley Hill 6.
The teams were tied 20-20 at the half.
Newfane 49, Grand Island 42
Paige Emborsky scored 25 and Emily Foltz 10 to lead Newfane to a 49-42 non league win over Grand Island.

Medina sweeps Wheatland-Chili
Medina splashed to a pair of lopsided non league wins over visiting Wheatland-Chili.
Dan Heil doubled in the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Breaststroke and Hunter Heil in the 100 Butterfly and 100 Backstroke to lead the Medina boys as Chris Goyette took the 200 Free and August Pietrafesa the 50 Free.
Hannah Heil doubled in the 50 Free and 100 Free for the Medina girls as Margaret Klotzback took the 200 Free, Brooklyn Brown the 200 Individual Medley, Emma Schwarzott the 100 Fly, Ashton Laird the 100 Back and Grace Cogovan the 100 Breaststroke.
Roy-Hart split at Pembroke winning the girls meet 56-38 but losing the boys 53-41.
Barker likewise split at Attica winning the boys meet 55-43 and losing the girls 58-40. Andrew Jenks was a double winner for the Raiders in the 50 Free and 100 Butterfly.
The Albion boys defeated Alexander 78-22 as Matt Kovaleski doubled in the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Breaststroke, Carlitos Sanchez in the 50 Free and 100 Free and Harrison Brown in the 200 Free and 500 Free. Alexander won the girls meet 69-31.
