N-O wrestling season begins this week

Niagara-Orleans League wrestling competition gets underway on Wedneday as Albion visiting defending champion Newfane in the key match.

The other N-O openers will have Medina at Akron and Roy-Hart/Barker at Wilson.

The week’s basketball action will feature a pair of Lyndonville vs. Kendall clashes on Friday. The boys game will be at Lyndonville and the girls contest at Kendall.

The Medina boys basketball team will get its season underway by hosting Burgard Wednesday and then facing Nichols on Saturday in the Cataract Classic at Niagara Falls High.  Roy-Hart will also take on East Aurora in that same event on Friday evening.
