Medina wrestlers open with two wins
Opening the season on a high note, Medina defeated CSAT 65-15 and St. Mary’s, Lancaster 65-18 this evening in a non league tri-meet at CSAT.
Rashawn Bloom, Travis Wiseman, Colby Petrie, Da’Ron Bellan, Aidan Cayea, Alden Cayea, Joe Gates, Jeremiah Wiseman, Christian Silversmith, Elijah Sones and Spencer Rotoli each scored a pair of wins for the Mustangs.
Alexander 39, Albion 33
Tim Wells and Jessy Cruz both notched pins and Cody Wilson had a decision win for Albion in the Purple Eagle 39-33 season opening non league loss to visiting Alexander.
Fredonia 52, Roy-Hart/Barker 27
AJ Schafer and Aiden Haley both scored pins and Murphy Lang, Ben Schwab and Tyler Choate all added decision wins for Roy-Hart/Barker in a 51-27 non league loss at Fredonia.
