Holley, Kendall duos earn All-Star honors

Photos by Cheryl Wertman – Holley is represented on the Genesee Region League All-Star soccer team by goalie Patrick Bower and forward John Mounts.

Holley and Kendall have both placed two players on the Genesee Region League All-Star boys soccer team.

Holley is represented by senior goalie Patrick Bower and junior forward John Mounts.

Kendall has placed senior defender Jeremy Browe and junior forward Nate Warters.

Bower made 81 saves and had a goals against average of 0.951 while Mounts scored a team leading 11 goals and added 2 assists for the Hawks.

Warters led Kendall with 18 goals and 5 assists while Browe, who helped to anchor the Eagles defense, had 3 assists.

Holley also had q quartet of Honorable Mention selections including forward Matt Wilson and defenders Erik Balys, Matt Skehan and Kory Puente, all juniors.

Kendall’s Honorable Mention selections include senior midfielder Miguel Aguirre, senior forward Chris Butlin and junior midfielder Mickey Gardner.
