A large contingent of nine returnees bolsters the lineup for the Roy-Hart girls volleyball team as the Lady Rams prepare for the upcoming Niagara-Orleans League season.

Senior Olivia Vorholzer, who earned second team N-O All-League honors last season, and seniors Skyler Christopher and Aspen Moore, who both received Honorable Mention, head that large veteran contingent which also includes seniors Sydnee Oetinger, Carly Eldridge, Daria Paisley, Jessi Wood, Allison Dudek and junior Paige Dent.

The Lady Rams big losses to graduation were first team N-O All-League honoree Bea Bacon and second team selection Brianna Brewer.

“We lost some good kids but we have a good group returning,” said Coach Bill Holahan.

Roy-Hart, which went 6-4 in N-O competition last year is slated to host Albion in the league opener on Wednesday.
