Kendall girls surge past Notre Dame

A quick two goal scoring burst early in the second half keyed Kendall to a 4-1 victory over visiting Notre Dame this afternoon in the season opening Genesee Region League girls soccer game for both teams.

Breaking away from a 1-1 deadlock, Kendall took charge as Michela Hanlon scored twice, at the 32 and 28 minute marks, off assists first from Katherine Pearson and then from Abby Jenks.

Lizzie Supthen closed out the Kendall scoring with a goal with 9 minutes to go.

Taylor ReQua scored the Lady Eagles lone first half goal on a penalty kick.

Notre Dame pulled even before the half on a goal by Addysen DiMateo.

Kendall next visits Oakfield-Alabama/Elba on Tuesday in another G-R contest.

Pembroke 5, Roy-Hart 1
Breaking away from a 1-1 half-time deadlock, Pembroke scored 4 unanswered second half goals to earn a 5-1 non league win over host Roy-Hart.

Kayla Brown scored Roy-Hart’s lone goal.
