Lady Raiders have new soccer coach
Medina High graduate Tyler Evans takes over the coaching helm for the Barker girls varsity soccer team this season as the Lady Raiders prep for Tuesday’s Niagara-Orleans League opener at Roy-Hart.
Senior goalie Kylie Miller heads the Lady Raiders veteran contingent which also includes seniors Mallory Gross, Bailey Forton, Marisa Jowdy, Alexis Stratton, Abby Harris and junior Shelby Ewald. Miller and Gross both earned N-O All-League Honorable Mention last season.
“We’ve got a good group and they are working hard,” said Evans. “We’re looking to get better with every game.”
Interestingly, Evans takes over the Lady Raiders helm from another Medina grad, Brooke (Jablonski) Beatty, who is now teaching at Albion.
