After serving as JV coach the past couple of years Lyndonville High grad Kate (Thurber) Draper takes over the helm of the Lady Tigers varsity volleyball squad this season.
The Lady Tigers return good experience in seniors Skyler Lear, Paige Gardner, Cassie Maynard and Josephine Joy along with juniors Alecia Hinkson and Carlie Russo.
“We’ve got some good experience back and they are working hard to be better. We’re looking for a real good season,” said Draper whose Lady Tigers face non league matches against Medina (September 1) and Roy-Hart (September 5) before opening the Genesee Region League season at Oakfield-Alabama/Elba on September 7.
