Carnival remains small-town tradition at Kendall

KENDALL – The carnival returned to Kendall on Thursday for its annual three-day run. This photo shows a carnival worker giving a girl some tips on shooting the targets at one of the games.
The annual event is organized by the Kendall Fire Department and continues until Saturday night.
The Kendall Firemen’s Carnival is the last one in Orleans County. Firefighters say it takes a big group of volunteers, plus community support, to keep the event going.
Dawn DiRienzo of DiRienzo’s Concessions is back at the carnival for the fourth time. She lives in Freedom.
