MEDINA – Orchard Manor Rehabilitation & Nursing Center hosted a cake and punch reception on Thursday to celebrate Pat and Terri Suozzi’s 60th wedding anniversary.
Pianist Judd Sunshine provided musical entertainment to residents, staff, and guests for the event and the Suozzis shared a dance together. June birthdays were also celebrated.
The Suozzis are originally from Batavia and were married there in 1957. Terri worked for NY Telephone and for Sylvania as secretary. After Pat graduated from UB, he became a Director of Labor Relations and the Suozzis lived in various places including Corning and Syracuse. They moved to Florida in 1977 and Terri owned a retail bath shop, which she enjoyed very much. In 2000, they moved to Medina. Terri has been a resident at Orchard Manor since 2012. The Suozzis have one son, Terry, who resides in Medina.
On June 10, the Suozzis will renew their marriage vows at Pat’s sister’s church in Rochester with the Bishop of the New York State Pentecostals.
