B-B downs Holley; Elba bests Lyndonville

Jumping out to a 15-2 first quarter lead, Byron-Bergen went on to defeat visiting Holley 48-33 this evening in a Genesee Region League game.

Brandon Burke scored 14 and Colin Noeth 13 to set the pace for the Bees which held leads of 26-12 at the half and 35-23 at the three-quarter mark. Burke capped off his evening with a dunk for the 1,000 and 1,001 points of his career.

Patrick Bower scored 14, Dylan Hillabush 10 and Andrew Moseman 8 for Holley. Bower also grabbed off 7 rebounds.

Elba 71, Lyndonville 43
Elba likewise raced out to an 18-2 first quarter advantage in route to posting a 71-43 G-R win over visiting Lyndonville.

Tucker Bezon scored a game high 24 points and Jon Boyce added 13 to lead the way for Elba which was up 42-18 at the half.

Eric Neace scored 12 and Corey Hydock 11 for Lyndonville as Jacob Hoffee added 9, Nathan Poler 4, Luke Isaacson 3 and Matt Hess and Ricky Forder 2.
