Albion vs. Medina contests this week

Medina and Albion will renew their rivalry in boys and girls basketball and swimming to highlight the upcoming week of local high school sports action.
On the basketball court Friday, Albion will host Medina in the boys game and the Mustangs will host the Purple Eagles in the girls contest in the Niagara-Orleans League openers for both schools.
Albion will also host Medina in an N-O boys and girls swim meet on Friday.
The week’s boys basketball action will also feature an interesting early season non league clash of unbeatens as 4-0 Barker hosts 2-0 Lyndonville on Tuesday. Lyndonville also faces a key Genesee Region League home game against Elba on Friday in a matchup of teams that battled for the Division 2 title last year.
