Albion swimmers sweep Notre Dame
Albion swept to a doubleheader victory over visiting Notre Dame this evening in a non league swim meet.
The Purple Eagles won the boys meet 68-25 and the girls competition 60-33.
Matt Kovaleski won the 100 Butterfly, Sam Sanchez the 200 Individual Medley and Carlitos Sanchez the 50 Free to lead the Albioin boys squad.
The Purple Eagles girls team was sparked by a trio of individual event double winners as Elizabeth Furmanski took the 50 Free and 100 Free, Michaela Pantano the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Butterfly and Rylie Lear the 200 Free and 500 Free.
The Albion boys are now 2-0 and the girls 1-1.
