Mustangs have All-League soccer trio
Medina/Lyndonville has placed three players on the first team of the annual Niagara-Orleans All-League boys soccer squad including senior forward Kristian Snyder, junior midfielder Ethan Leonard and senior defender Adam Cifelli.
Snyder, a three time first team honoree, scored a Mustangs team record 27 goals this season while Leonard netted 6 goals and a team leading 13 assists.
Undefeated (10-0) champion Newfane tops the first team with four selections including senior forward Jonny Costanzo, junior midfielders Trevor Moreland and Mateo May and senior defender Matt Vogt.
Moreland, a three-time first team honoree and the N-O Player of the Year, had 22 goals and 15 assists this season while May had 15 goals and 15 assists and Costanzo 10 goals and 8 assists.
Runner-up Wilson (8-2) had a trio of selections including junior forward Cesar Carlin, senior midfielder Tyler Van Buren and senior defender Josh LiPuma.
Carlin, a three-time first team selection, had 37 goals and 10 assists and Van Buren 7 goals and 13 assists.
Akron is represented by senior midfielder Tyler Jones, who had 3 goals and 4 assists, and junior goalie Marcus Kenline, who made 148 saves.
Rounding out the first team are Albion senior defender Nick Reed, who had 3 goals and 3 assists, and Roy-Hart junior forward Jamasen Johnson who had 4 goals.
Newfane also led the way on the second team with three selections including senior forward Bobby Heers, junior midfielder Clayton Cleveley and junior defender Max Weber.
Medina/Lyndonville placed senior forward Vassilios Bitsas and senior defender Coby Albone.
Albion is represented by senior defender Donato Rosario and junior goalie Devin Gaylor; Wilson by senior midfielder Brayden Skobjak and senior defender David Cloy and Akron by senior midfielder Cody Blasko.
