Snyder scores 6 goals as Mustangs romp

Led by Kristian Snyder’s school record tying 6 goal effort, Medina/ Lyndonville romped to a 9-0 victory over host Global Concepts this afternoon in a non league soccer game.
Snyder’s big afternoon also gives him a school record tying total of 25 goals for the season and the school career scoring record with a total of 34 goals. His season total ties the 25 netted by Allan Anderson in 1992.
The Mustangs built up a 4-0 lead at the half as Snyder scored 3 goals, 2 off assists from Matt Hess and the other from Vassilios Bitsas.
Dylan Nicholson netted the other opening half goal off an assist from Ethan Leonard
Snyder then scored three lightning quick goals in the first 6 minutes of the second half off assists from Leonard, Nick Albone and Hess.
Trevor Hare rounded out the Mustangs scoring with a pair of goals off assists from Alex Allis and Coby Albone.
Now at 9-4, Medina/Lyndonville next hosts Roy-Hart at 7 p.m. Friday in a Niagara-Orleans League game.

Trevor Moreland had 2 goals and 1 assist, Jonny Costanzo a goal and an assist and Mateo May a goal to lead undefeated Newfane (14-0) to a 4-0 non league victory over Lake Shore.
