Tiger spikers rally for first victory

The Lyndonville/Medina boys soccer squad rallied from a two set to one deficit to defeat Northeast Prep of Rochester 25-21, 25-27, 22-25, 25-15, 25-16 this evening at Lyndonville for the Tigers first victory of the season.

A run of five straight service aces by Chris Goyette in the fourth set helped ignite the Tigers comeback victory.

Devon Allen had 10 aces, Luke Isaacson 8 aces and 6 spiking kills, Mason Pecoraro 7 aces, 8 kills and 3 blocks and Chrisitian Hahn 8 kills for the Tigers.

Lyndonville/Medina next hosts Sodus at 6 p.m. Friday for Homecoming.
