Holley booters nip W-C; Kendall bows

Holley made an early goal stand up for a narrow 1-0 victory over visiting Wheatland-Chili this evening to improve to 4-1 in Genesee Region League boys soccer competition.

The Hawks scored the game’s only goal just four minutes into the first half as Andrew Cary tallied off an assist from Derek McArthur.

The loss drops W-C to 2-2.

Now at 6-2 overall, Holley next visits rival Kendall at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

Pembroke 5, Kendall 1
Pembroke regained the .500 mark in G-R action at 2-2 by downing Kendall 5-1 as Ryan Curtin led the way with 2 goals and an assist.

Jake Adams scored the goal for Kendall which is now 1-2 in G-R competition.
