Wilson golfers top Medina to double lead
Defending champion Wilson doubled its lead by downing Medina 201-221 this afternoon in a key Niagara-Orleans League golf match at Willowbrook.
The Lakemen improve to 8-0 while the runner-up Mustangs slip to 6-2.
Jonah Miller and Nate Fox shared medalist honors with rounds of 36 for Wilson.
The Lakemen also had Conner Seeley shoot 39, Nick Seider 43 and Patrick Seeley 46.
Mike Cardone shot 35 and Ian Wagner 39 for Medina.
Albion 249, Newfane 270
Nick Penna took medalist honors with a 43 to lead the way for Albion in the victory over Newfane as Nick Perry added a 44 and Patrick Ricker a 47.
Albion is now 3-5-1 and Newfane 0-9.
Roy-Hart 217, Akron 268
Hogan Lang earned medalist honors with a 40 for Roy-Hart which topped Akron to improve to 5-2-1.
The loss drops Akron to 1-8.
