Medina soccer coach gets 200th win
Contributed Photo – Tuesday’s sectional win was a very special milestone victory for Medina boys varsity soccer Coach Steve Luksch. The win, which advances the Mustangs to Thursday’s Class B quarterfinal at Allegany-Limestone, was his 200th career victory. Luksch, at right, is shown with his Assistant Coach Doug Boje. The two have been coaching together for 21 years. Over his 21 seasons at the varsity helm, Luksch’s Mustangs have captured three Section VI championships (2011, 2013, 2020) and two Niagara-Orleans League titles (2014, 2019).
