Lady Eagles down Lady Bees in G-R soccer
Kendall bested visiting Byron-Bergen 4-1 in a Genesee Region League girls soccer game this evening as the Lady Eagles improve to 7-0.
Kendall jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first half on goals by Sophia Picardo and Jersie Drake off a corner by Ryleigh Denning.
Denning and Drake also scored two quick goals in the second half after the Lady Bees had cut the deficit to 2-1 on a penalty kick goal.
Notre Dame 2, Holley 1
Notre Dame edged visiting Holley 2-1 in another G-R contest.
Holley tied the game in the second half as Emma Burne scored off an assist from Carsyn Mogle.
However, Notre Dame answered with the game winning goal in the final 15 minutes.
