Medina tops Newfane in N-O soccer

A quick early two goal scoring burst sparked Medina to a 4-0 victory over Newfane in a Niagara-Orleans League boys soccer game at Vets Park this afternoon.
All of the scoring took place in the first half.
Aleks Seefeldt got Medina onto the scoreboard just 12 minutes in on a penalty kick goal.
Aidan Papaj quickly doubled the Mustangs advantage just a minute later with a goal off a turnover.
The Mustangs advantage jumped to 4-0 by halftime as Papaj scored again on a header with 14 minutes to go and Seefeldt tallied on another penalty kick with just two minutes remaining.
Wilson 4, Albion 1
Defending champion Wilson (3-0) downed Albion (0-2) 4-1 in another N-O contest.
Cole Herrmann scored 2 goals and Max Harmon and Mason Schultz both netted 1 for Wilson.
Brendan Smith scored the Albion goal.
