Kendall will open G-R boys soccer title defense at Lyndonville/Barker Wednesday

Facing a bit of a rebuilding task, Kendall will begin defense of its Genesee Region League boys soccer championship at Lyndonville/Baker on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
The Eagles, which lost 10 seniors to graduation including six G-R All-Stars, are led by the returning group of seniors Brenden Eichas, CJ D’Agostino, Dominic Heirigs and Tyler McCue along with juniors Sam Charland and Andrew Cole.
New Coach Brennan Wahl’s roster also includes seniors Lucas Barrett and Ryan Gaesser along with juniors Sammy Conte, Luca D’Agostino, Zachary Draper, Cooper Hughes, Anthony Seymour and Raymond Szymanski; sophomore Andrew D’Agostino and freshman Hayden Wahl.
Kendall’s graduation losses included G-R All-Stars Pablo Rosario Reyes (24 goals, 25 assists), Brandon Barrett (18 goals, 12 assists), Vinnie D’Agostino, Jonas Rhodes, Jonathan Esposito (14 goals, 10 assists) and goalie Jonny Conte (111 saves, 0/39 goals against average).
The Eagles went 12-0 in G-R competition and 18-1 overall last fall.
