Barker field hockey and Roy-Hart boys soccer teams win season openers
The Barker field hockey and Roy-Hart boys soccer varsity teams both opened the season on a high note today with non league victories.
Barker edged Pioneer 1-0 in the Western New York Field Hockey Pre Season Showcase at Starpoint.
Brooke Weber scored the game’s lone goal for the Lady Bulldogs.
Barker will begin Niagara-Orleans League competition on September 10 against Wilson.
Roy-Hart downed host CSAT 4-1 as Michael Fuller scored 3 goals and Ethan Brown 1.
The Rams will next visit Niagara Falls on Friday for a non league contest. The Rams will begin N-O competition on September 9 at Akron.
