Mustangs eye rebound N-O volleyball season
Photo by Cheryl Wertman – Nine returnees provide plenty of experience as the Medina varsity volleyball team looks to bounce back from last fall’s 0-10 Niagara-Orleans League season. The Mustangs returnees include, in front, Caliyah St. Louis, Grace Goodrich, Samantha Heschke and Maddy Watts. In back are Raelynn Baker, Teagan Balaban, Payton Denniston, Maya Anderson and Cassidy Janas. All are seniors except Denniston who is a junior and St. Louis who is a sophomore. Anderson earned second team N-O All-League honors last fall while Heschke was an Honorable Mention selection. The Mustangs will tune-up for the N-O home opener on September 9 against Newfane by visiting Alden on Thursday.
