Albion and Medina golfers open Monday
Photo by Cheryl Wertman – Coming off a 10-2 second place finish last fall, Albion returns a solid nucleus with which to make a run at top Niagara-Orleans League golf honors this fall. In front are sophomores Luke Bedford and Viktor Snyder and junior Owen Spencer. In back are seniors Mason Snook, Nick Luft, Drew Pritchard and Gavin Boyce. Spencer earned first team N-O All-League honors last year while Pritchard and Snyder were both second team honorees. Albion will begin N-O competition on Monday sgainst Wilson at Hickory Ridge.
Photo by Cheryl Wertman – Finishing in third place last fall, the Medina High golf team’s veterans include Chasen Bouter, Emily Smith-Flatley and Tyler Draper. The Mustangs returnees also include Cam Fike, Jameson Pilon, Parker Bruning, Nick Weatherbee and Jackson Reese. Fike earned first team Niagara-Orleans All-League honors last fall while Draper was a second team selection. Medina begins N-O competition at Newfane on Monday.
