Today’s Highway 31 concert in Albion rescheduled for Aug. 26
Bullard hosting picnic for senior citizens on Thursday
ALBION – The thunderstorm has forced the Village of Albion to reschedule this evening’s concert featuring Highway 31. The band will instead perform at 6 p.m. on Aug. 26 from the amphitheater at Bullard Park.
Bullard next week will host the band Swamp Moose beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 19.
The park on Thursday is hosting a picnic for senior citizens from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The Village of Albion Recreation Department is putting on the event at the east end pavilion at Bullard.
Food and beverages will be served, including chicken barbecue, hot dogs, hamburgers, cucumber, tomato, onion salad, coleslaw with a sweet vinaigrette, water, watermelon and peach apple cherry dump cake.
Live music will be provided by The Hastings Duo. Participants are welcome to bring their own lawn chair but picnic tables will be available.
