Hawley sponsoring blood drive on Aug. 18 at Ridgeway Fire Hall

RIDGEWAY – Assemblyman Steve Hawley (R,C-Batavia) will be on hand Tuesday, Aug. 18, for his final American Red Cross Blood Drive of the summer.
No new appointments are currently being accepted, but Hawley encourages those who have already signed up to attend and donate. As blood supplies remain critically low, every donation can help ensure hospitals have the blood they need to care for patients throughout the region.
“Every blood donation has the potential to save lives, and our community has always stepped up when help is needed,” Hawley said. “I encourage everyone who has already scheduled an appointment to join us for our final blood drive of the summer and make a difference for someone in need.”
The blood drive is from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Ridgeway Volunteer Fire Co., 11392 Ridge Rd., Medina, NY 14103.
