It’s Scrimmage Saturday

Photos by Cheryl Wertman – High school football teams across the state tuned up for next weekend’s season openers by competing in scrimmages this morning. Here Albion quarterback Bryce Pritchard rolls out looking to pass against Batavia during the host Purple Eagles four-way scrimmage which also included LeRoy and York.
Albion running back Tom Mattison breaks loose for a good gain down the sideline. The Purple Eagles will visit Lew-Port in the opener next Friday night.
Medina/Lyndonville wide receiver Jalin Cooper picks up yardage against Dunkirk during the Mustangs six team scrimmage at Vets Park which also included Barker/Roy-Hart, Newfane, Wilson and Silver Creek.
