Banner honors Eagles sectional soccer title
Contributed Photo – It was banner day at Kendall High on Friday as the Eagles 2024 sectional champion soccer team was honored. Players and coaches are shown gathered here for the ceremony. A close up view of the banner is shown here. The Eagles captured the school’s first boys soccer sectional title since 1998 by earning the Section V Class C2 championship with a 3-1 win over Genesee Valley/Belfast. Keeping the momentum, the Eagles went on to claim the overall Section V Class C crown by besting East Rochester 3-0 in the state qualifier. Kendall finished the season with an 18-2-1 record after losing to Allegany-Limestone in the Class C Far West Regional.
