Green has top 15 finish at Arizona Tourney

Slipping a bit in the standings during today’s final round, Medina’s Melanie Green finished in a tie for 14th at the Epson Tour’s Carlisle Arizona Women’s Golf Championship at Scottsdale.
Green carded a 1 over par round of 72 today to finish the four day, 72 hole event with a 5 under par total of 279 missing a top 10 finish by just one stroke.
She entered today’s final round at 6 under but was slowed as 4 bogeys and a double bogey which offset 4 birdies.
She opened the tourney with a sparkling 6 under par round on Thursday. She then rebounded from a 2 over par round of 73 on Friday with a 2 under par round of 69 on Saturday.
The Epson Tour’s next stop will be in Utah this coming Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
