New track records set for Eagles and Rams
Contributed Photos – Kendall’s Caleb Schumacher, left, and Roy-Hart’s Braden Ricker both set new school track records this past week. Schumacher set a new Eagles record of 125-3 in the Discus breaking the old mark of 124-5 by almost a foot. Ricker set a new Rams record of 10.8 in the 100 breaking the old mark of 10.9 set by Willie Cunningham. Ricker was also a double winner in the 100 and 200 at Saturday’s Holley Invitational. His teammate Zach Schultz won the 400 while Medina’s Aurora Owczarczak captured the 200.
