This afternoon’s stormy weather washed out two of the three scheduled Niagara-Orleans League track meets – Newfane at Medina and Akron at Roy-Hart – which have been rescheduled for tomorrow.

However, the third meet, which had Albion at Wilson, did get most of the events in before lightning halted the competition which is scheduled to be resumed on Monday.

When the meet was suspended Albion held a 56-44 lead in the boys competition while Wilson led 41-23 in the girls competition.

Cencere Lowe was a double winner for the Purple Eagles in the 100 and Long Jump.
