Albion posts key tennis win over Akron
Defending champion Albion edged Akron 3-2 Thursday to move into a share of first place atop the Niagara-Orleans League tennis standings.
Leo Bolton won at first singles and Landon Graybill at second singles for the Purple Eagles which also got a key win at second doubles from the duo of Bradyn Whittier – Donovan Bradley.
Albion is now tied with Barker for first place at 3-1 as Akron slips in a tie for the runner-up spot with Wilson at 2-1.
Rounding out the N-O standings Roy-Hart is 1-1, Medina 1-3 and Newfane 0-4.
N-O matches scheduled for today have Roy-Hart at Barker and Medina at Wilson.
